I met exactly three punx when I was in the military. The first was a girl when I was in my first week of basic training. We hadn’t been issued uniforms yet and I was dressed in my own clothes. I remember I was wearing this Operation Ivy shirt. While I was going through the line to collect the stuff we were being issued, she handed me my uniform and whispered, “Op Ivy! I love that band.”

So after waking up this morning my eyes were still hurting. Went to urgent care and had an exam done on my eyes and the doctor told me I had a bit of minor scratching on my cornea and a mild chemical burn. She flushed my eyes out and prescribed me eyedrops and painkillers.
I feel much better but my eye is still hurting. The peace of mind knowing that it’s a minor injury makes me feel...
